The Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana is an initiative of the Government of Maharashtra to support and empower girls from economically weaker sections of society. Under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana financial assistance of up to Rs.1250/- will be given to every eligible woman per month to strengthen their financial condition.

Under the scheme, the family receives an initial sum of money when a girl is born as a grant into a long-term savings account.
