The Department of Social Justice & Empowerment (MSJ&E) offers the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme For Vibrant India (YASHAVI) to deserving students at two different levels from grades 9th to 11th. The PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme is restricted to OBC, EBC, & Other Vulnerable Groups. The written test of the Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme is known as the Yashasvi Entrance Test.
Yashasvi Scheme Objective
The main objective of the Prime Minister Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme is to provide financial assistance to students belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC), Denotified-Nomadic-&-Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNT), and Economically Backward Class (EBC) of society and enable them to pursue higher studies all over the country.
